Certificate of Excellence in Geriatrics: Preparing our Future Health Care Workforce for the Aging Boom
Certificate of Excellence in Geriatridcs is a 160-hour certificate program for Houston Community College faculty who teach health professional students. The programs consists of three segments:
- Didactic Learning (40 hours with CEUs) – Participants are enrolled in Baby Boomer Imperative: Working Together to Care for the Aging Population.
- Experiential Learning (40 hours)
- Mentored Project (80 hours)
Two course cycles per year, beginning in September, 2011 and February, 2012.
