The UTHealth Geriatric Resource Nurse/Case Manager course is a 24-hour continuing education program offered one Thursday per month for four months. The next program begins March 29, 2012. The program is targeted toward nurses and case managers either working in, or interested in working in, acute care hospitals, long-term care settings, home health agencies, hospice organizations, or assisted living facilities providing care for older adults. 24.0 Contact Hours of nursing continuing education is offered for program completion.
