SNNAP Installation Guide: Apple Macintosh

 

  1. Download SNNAP.

    2.  
    1. Download either version 7 or 8 from URL: http://snnap.uth.tmc.edu
    2. Save it in a folder.
    3. Unzip it with an unzip program.
    4. Save the unzipped SNNAP files in a directory.
      NOTE: Path name cannot contain blank character.

  2. Installation of Java SDK for Mac.

    1. Download Java SDK for Mac.
       
      1. Go to URL: http://developer.apple.com/java/download.html
      2. Find MRJ Software Development Kit (SDK) 2.2.
      3. Click it to download MRJ_SDK_2.2_install_sit.bin.

        4.  
    2. Install MRJ SDK 2.2.

      3. Click that bin file. It will generate a MRJ SDK 2.2 folder.

  3. Run SNNAP in JBindery.

    4.  
    1. Open Tools folder from the MRJ SDK 2.2 folder.
    2. Open Application Builders folder in Tools folder.
    3. Open JBindery folder in Application Builders folder.
    4. Click Builders to execute it. It will pop up the dialog box.
    5. Type “mainscreen” for class name in the dialog box.
    6. Click classpath in the dialog box to select the path which includes the mainscreen class.
    7. Click Run in the dialog box to start SNNAP.
