
Student Guide (online Student Connections). UTHSC-H maintains a Student Guide presented online as Student Connections with information of interest to students at the Health Science Center. This site contains links for Academics, Administration, Student Services, Student Policies, Student Governance, Leisure and Recreation and the Houston Community.
Student Organizations. The University of Texas Health Science Center - Houston encourages its students to develop collegial relationships and has established specific policies and procedrues governing any organizations formed by those affiliated with the university.

Student InterCouncil (Student Government). The Student InterCouncil is the UTHSC-H Health student governance organization and is the recognized forum of student opinion and the primary vehicle for student participation in the governance of UTHSC-H. The organization is comprised of representatives from each of the six schools (Dental Branch, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Medical School, School of Health Information Sciences, School of Nursing and School of Public Health) and fro the minority and international student constituencies.
MD/PhD Program. (see GSBS) The formal MD/PhD Program provides an opportunity for outstanding students with dedicated interests in academic medicine and biomedical research to participate in an organized program leading to the MD and PhD degrees. The program of study is flexible and tailored to the interests and background of each student admitted to the Program.
Office of Postdoctoral Affairs - provide administrative support to Postdoctoral Fellows in an effort to enhance their experience at UTHSC-H. The office serves as an information warehouse and provides an avenue of communication among postdoctoral fellows, faculty, and administrators on issues related to postdoctoral training.
Student News and View - "Student Pulse" is the university's student newsletter. It is published bimonthly September through May by the Student InterCouncil (SIC) and contains articles pertaining to student issues and concerns.
