I.                   Requirements for Credit [back to top]

Students wishing to receive Blue Book credit and/or course extra credit (ICM for MS1s and Physical Diagnosis for MS2s) must enroll for this elective via Black Board. Surveys will only be administered via BlackBoard and must be completed by 11:55pm on the same day as the talk. No exceptions will be made. Instructions for enrolling in the course are below:
1) Click on https://bb.uth.tmc.edu/index3.html
2) Log-in with your username and password (the same as you would for your UT-H email)
3) Once logged in to BlackBoard, click the blue "Courses" tab, and search for "Hot Topics in Ethics". You will see a button on the right side of the page that will let you self enroll into this course.
4) Click on the "Submit" button
5) After a moment, you will see a message on the screen confirming your enrollment in the elective.

6) To confirm that you have enrolled into the course, you should be able to see “2nd Annual Hot Topics in Ethics Series - Spring 2008” under

    “My Courses” in the upper right-hand side of your BlackBoard start page.

Medical students must attend and sign-in for at least eight of the 11 talks in order to receive Blue Book Credit.

Medical students

UTHSCH Medical School course extra credit (ICM for MS1s and Physical Diagnosis for MS2s)

Medical students must attend, sign-in, and complete post-talk surveys for at least eight of the 11 talks in order to receive course extra credit.
