:: ALLIANCE FOR DIVERSITY IN CULTURE ::

Alliance for Diversity in Culture, "ADC," is our medical school's newest organization, which was created under the vision of Sam Li, MSII and Dr. Judianne Kellaway, M.Ed, M.D. ADC is comprised of four minority organizations:

AMWA - American Medical Women's Association

APAMSA - Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association

NNLAMS - National Network of Latino American Medical Students

SNMA - Student National Medical Association

ADC's Blue Book lecture series will include 8 lunchtime lectures, with each organization sponsoring two talks pertinent to its organization's interests. Additionally, each organization will provide a service project and a cultural/social event. In order to attain Blue Book credit, students must attend 6 of 8 lectures and participate in two of the provided service projects or cultural/social events. AMWA is providing the battered women's shelter project as its service project and the Mr. UT Man Pageant as its social project. AMWA members are free to participate in any of the four organizations' service projects and cultural/social events to satisfy their Blue Book requirements for ADC. Free lunch is provided for all ADC members.
