Dr. Carin A. Hagberg
Chair of Anesthesiology
The mission of the Department of Anesthesiology is to achieve and demonstrate excellence in the clinical care of patients and in academics both through innovative research and by offering a stellar educational program.
The goal of our Residency Program is to educate physicians in the fundamentals of anesthesia and its related disciplines. We aim to graduate broadly educated, well-rounded practitioners with the abilities and resources to perform with confidence any aspect of anesthetic practice.
Our residency program is the largest in Texas and provides a unique and valuable experience for training high quality anesthesiology physician consultants.
