PIG TRACHEA LABS
WHO: Future Anesthesiologists (that’s you)
WHAT: The Anesthesiology Department Chair, Dr. Carin Hagberg, directs pig trachea labs several times each semester. Throughout the session, students and residents alike have the opportunity to practice procedures, such as cricothyrotomies, retrograde intubation, and jet ventilation techniques.

SIM-MAN SESSIONS AND INTUBATING WORKSHOPS
WHO: Future Anesthesiologists (again that’s you)
WHAT: Dr. Doerr will be leading these sessions practicing routine and adrenaline pumping less than routine scenarios on the Med School Simulation Man.
