Message from the Interim Chairman

Carin A. Hagberg, M.D.

The mission of the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston is to achieve and demonstrate excellence in the clinical care of patients and in academics both through innovative research and by offering a stellar educational program. My personal goal is to create an environment conducive to our department’s mission to train our residents to become excellent anesthesiologists and perioperative physicians.
