The intensivist division of the Department of Anesthesiology sees patients in the Neurosurgical-trauma ICU. State of the art equipment including transcranial doppler, echocardiography, continuous cardiac output monitoring, and thromboelastography is available in all of our units. Multiple consult services are available around the clock (i.e., nephrology, cardiology, infectious diseases, etc.) to ensure that every possible resource is in place to maximize our patient outcomes.
