Compassionate Care While You Sleep

Located in the basement of The University of Texas Medical School at Houston is the Surgical Clinical Skills Center. Here both residents and faculty of multiple specialties can participate in workshops including simulation devices, anatomy workshops, and microscope workshops. The department of anesthesiology, in coordination with the Lab Director Dr. Eric Reichman, utilizes the METI and Laerdal Simulation Manikins and computer systems. Residents and faculty participate in didactic sessions with simulated patient interactions with cutting edge simulation technologies.
