Instructor

The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston has an opening for a part time faculty Instructor position at 25% time.

Successful candidates will be responsible for class room teaching of residents. They would also be expected to deliver resident lectures and grand round presentations.

Candidates would be expected to have an M.D. degree, four years of training (1 year general house staff) and 3 years of anesthesiology residency, and board eligibility (prefer board certification) in Anesthesiology. If interested, contact:

The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston has openings at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels for general, liver, pediatric, pain, and neuro anesthesiology.

Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching residents, medical students, and nurses the skills and theory of these specialties. They would also be expected to conduct research, publish scholarly articles, attend scientific meetings, and deliver lectures in the department.

Candidates would be expected to have an M.D. degree, four years of training (1 year general house staff) and 3 years of anesthesiology residency, Texas State medical license, and board eligibility (prefer board certification) in Anesthesiology.
