ABSTRACT
The Educator's Portfolio provides a mechanism for identifying and evaluating faculty teaching activities. The Educator's Portfolio has separate areas for educational research, teaching encounters, and educational service. This article describes the components of a traditional Educator's Portfolio, and relates them to the basic scientist curriculum vitae . The article concludes with suggestions for implementing use of the educator's portfolio at the departmental and institutional level.
