Joshua I. Breier, Ph.D. is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Children's Learning Institute/Center for Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, Texas. His clinical practice includes evaluation of both children and adults with a wide variety of learning disabilities as well as illnesses affecting the central nervous system referred from neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other medical practitioners throughout the Houston and surrounding areas. Appointments for neuropsychological evaluation can be made by calling 832-325-7090.

Current research projects include imaging of language function using magnetoencephalography in adults with chronic aphasia secondary to stroke and in children as well as adults with epilepsy and co-morbid learning disabilities. Dr. Breier also studies primary processing of acoustic information in children with reading disabilities.
