Localized blood flow, odontoblast degeneration, formation of dead tract dentin

Inflammation causes vasodilation and increased subodontoblatic capillary permeability. These responses could increase resistance in the PCV, reduce blood flow and increase the leakage of albumin into the tissue, producing degeneration of the localized odontoblasts and the formation of dead tract dentin.
