Ronald R Rapini, MD. Director, Dermatopathology

Robert E Jordon, MD. Director, Immunodermatology

The Department of Dermatology operates its own clinical dermatopathology and immunofluorescence laboratory for processing patient biopsies, independent from the Pathology Department. Its physicians work closely with clinicians to coordinate the best care for each patient. The Dermatopathology and Immunodermatology sections are nationally recognized for their experience and expertise with difficult diagnostic cases. A Dermatopathology fellowship is available and enhances the Department’s mission to advance patient care through education, innovation, and research.
