Research
The faculty and residents of the combined UT-H and MDACC Department of Dermatology receive about 2 million dollars of research funding per year. Some of these are federal grants and others are funded by pharmaceutical companies to investigate potential new therapies and imaging systems. The department occupies about 2500 square feet of laboratory space across the two institutions.
