Mission

The U.T. Houston Electronic Press exists to advance knowledge in the health sciences by electronically disseminating the results of scholarly activities for the furtherance of education, research and service. It is an open access digital resource.

The imprimatur of the U.T. Houston Electronic Press on its publications denotes that

established, academic principles of selection, peer-review, and editorial refinement were applied to their production.
U.T. Houston will strive to ensure that these works are perpetually archived; thus, electronic citations to these publications within works created by other authors will, hopefully, persist indefinitely.
