General Accounting... About Us

General Accounting is committed to providing timely and accurate financial information in order to assist our customers. Our responsibilities include:

  • Process and distribute monthly and year end financial reports
  • Approve and process all GL Journal entries
  • Cancel/Void checks
  • Reconcile university bank accounts
  • Set up Credit card merchant accounts
  • Report financial information in USAS (Uniform Statewide Accounting System)
  • Recognize tuition revenue and reconcile SIS (Student Information System) account receivables to GL
