Annual Enrollment 2008 – 2009

Begins July 1 and ends July 31, 2008 with any changes to be effective September 1, 2008.

GREAT NEWS!

There are no increases to the cost of any of our plans, and no plan changes.  This means that if you do not wish to make any changes, you do not have to do anything: EXCEPT: You must re-elect UT Flex each plan year as per the IRS guidelines.

General Information regarding Annual Enrollment:

You will receive a Personal Identification Number (PIN) via email from UT Systems Office of Employee Benefits before July 1st.  You must use this PIN number to make changes via the UT Touch system.

Points to Remember:

  • Need to use the UT Touch automated system to make changes to your plans.
  • Need to re-elect UT Flex medical and dependent care each year.
  • Need to complete Evidence of Insurability (E of I) if you want to elect life, STD or LTD for the first time, or if you want to increase your life insurance on yourself or your spouse.

Annual Enrollment Meetings:

With no changes to our Benefits Plans or Premiums for the upcoming plan year beginning 9/1/2008 and the low turn out we received for previous scheduled annual enrollment sessions, we are discontinuing the remaining scheduled meetings at the locations listed below. 

  • Dental Branch - July 9
  • Nursing School - July 14
  • School of Public Health (SPH) - July 15 
  • Operations Center Building (OCB) - July 16
  • Lyndon Banes Johnson (LBJ) - July 17
  • Medical School - July 21
  • Mental Sciences Institute (MSI) - July 22
