As announced in January 2009, the online travel booking tool “Get There” through the contracted travel agency, Corporate Travel Planners (CTP), has been in a testing phase.  We are anticipating the tool will be available to all UTHSC-H employees, faculty and staff beginning May 1, 2009. This new tool provides travelers and administrators with the dashboard technology to make all travel arrangements from one location. Not only will the on-line booking tool provide some health science center policy edits to ensure compliance, it can assist in reducing travel service fees. 

The previous contracted service fees were extended for (4) four months so the new service fees go into effect May 1, 2009 as listed below.  Our travelers will now have the option to use the CTP full service or utilize the new online booking tool. 

CTP representative, Carol Forrester will conduct two training sessions demonstrating the booking tool and answering questions.  Additional training may be scheduled as needed.
