Membership
All members of the Graduate Student Education Committee (GSEC) are members of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS). For more information regarding membership requirements, please see GSBS bylaws.
Faculty membership in the GSEC is determined based on the recommendations of the Committee on Committees with approval from the academic program directors (standing members) and the Dean.
Student members are appointed by the program directors.

Our Mission Statement
The Graduate Student Education Committee seeks to raise the level of awareness of graduate education at the Medical School with the goal of contributing to the long range development of the student and ultimately, the early career researcher. In conjunction with the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the Committee fosters and encourages the creation of educational opportunities and the strengthening of social networks.
