Fulbright Scholar: Dr. Sergey M. Zimatkin from the Republic of Belarus
For more than 50 years, the Fulbright Scholar Program has offered grants for college and university faculty, as well as for professionals and independent scholars, to lecture and conduct research in countries around the world.
It was an honor for the Office of International Programs to host Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Sergey M. Zimatkin, who is vice-rector of science at Grodno State Medical University in the Republic of Belarus. During his three months at UTHSC-H starting in February 2002, his research included International Exchange, Telemedicine and Distance Learning. An Agreement of Cooperation with Grodno State Medical University has been signed. |
