TMC Council Hosts Consul General of the State of Qatar

It was an honor for the Office of International Programs and the Texas Medical Center's International Affairs Advisory Council to host the Honorable Mohamed Al-Hayki consul general of the State of Qatar. On June 19th, 2003, the Honorable Mohamed Al-Hayki spoke to the group about Qatar's history of medicine. Hui-Ming Chang, MD, MPH, SS vice president for international programs and special advisor to the president met with the Honorable Mohamed Al-Hayki prior to his presentation to introduce the university and explore possible collaboration between UTHSC-H and the State of Qatar.
