Fulbright
Fulbright Scholars lecture, consult and/or conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields across the globe. UK National Stem Cell Network -First National Conference
Over 300 delegates are expected to attend the conference held at the Edinburgh Conference Centre at Heriot-Watt University, April 9-11, 2008. The conference will become an annual feature of the scientific calendar, visiting a different UK centre of excellence in stem cell science each year. The conference will represent the diversity and quality of stem cell research in the UK, with a focus on up and coming young investigators. For further details, visit the UKNSCN website.

2nd Annual France - USA Science & Technology Workshop: Nanotechnology and Cancer

The 2nd Annual France - USA Science & Technology Workshop will be held on the Rice University Campus in rooms 1064 and 1070 at Duncan Hall. This event is intended to bring together scientific experts and innovators to showcase the opportunities that exist to promote revolutionary breakthroughs in the medicine and treatment of cancer.

Overseas Fellowships in Global Health and Clinical Research

Marshall Scholarships and Fellowships
For students interested in studying in the United Kingdom.

British Council Researcher Exchange Programme
Up to £5,000 (≈ $10,000) initiative aimed at supporting new links between early stage researchers in the UK and in other countries. Research link can be in any area of science, engineering and technology, including social sciences and humanities.

Applicants must have:
  • either obtained a doctoral qualification or be within 12 months of obtaining qualification
  • no more than two years full tenure in a university or research institute
  • no more than six years overall active researcher experience
(DEADLINE: JUNE 2, 2007)
