The International Programs Award was established in 2005 by means of a generous donation by a benefactor, in the desire to establish an academic collection of projects that looked to promote the health care needs of others on a global perspective. Award selection is conducted by a committee of faculty from the various schools of UTHSC-H. The committee ranks the applications according to the project’s rationale, perceived benefits for the applicant and UTHSC-H, and the overall impact of the work.
With this award, the Office of International Programs hopes to provide funding to valuable advancements of international collaboration and increase the individual and collective awareness of international programs. The Office of International Programs looks forward to continuing this award in the future and encourages more to apply. |
