Fellowship Training Programs Clinical Research Fellowship The research fellows participate in a variety of clinical research projects, many of which involve novel drug applications. Fellows receive advanced training in clinical trials design and management, grant processes, and research methodology. Applicants must have completed at least an internship and have a Texas license to practice medicine prior to beginning the one year program. Most of the fellows have a goal of later pursuing dermatology residency training, but advanced fellows contemplating academic careers are also encouraged to apply. Procedural Dermatology The one-year procedural dermatology fellowship housed at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is accredited by the American Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and approved for membership to the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology (Mohs College).
