I'm a medical resident at Texas Medical Center looking for a roommate to share a new home located in Shadow Creek Ranch, which is just south of the Medical Center. Mapquest shows it as a 15 minute drive to the Medical Center, 25 minutes to Downtown locations. The house is built in 2005, is 2480 sqft, on a 9000 sqft lot in a very quiet neighborhood with many nearby entertainment/food venues, jogging trails, exercise/recreational community centers, and multiple lakes/waterways. Also, you have all appliances, including washer, and dryer in the house- so you won't have to find a place to do laundry. The community itself has extensive jogging trails lined with lakes/waterways, neighborhood community centers (i.e multiple tennis/basketball courts, pools, etc), and a new massive outdoor mall opening at the end of July less than 5 minutes away.
