UTHealth supports March of Dimes

Ready to walk so they can run? Join Team UTHealth for the annual March of Dimes® March for Babies, a five-mile walk for stronger, healthier babies on Sunday, April 26 at the University of Houston, 2400 Calhoun. Walkers who raise or contribute at least $25 will be invited to participate in a team lunch after the walk and will also receive a Team UTHealth T-shirt.

Shelly Phinney has been named the Director of Management Operations for the Department of Family and Community Medicine, effective March 31. Since October 2010, she served as director of the department of community and family medicine at Truman Medical Centers in Kansas City, Mo.
