The Neuroscience Research Center (NRC) is a university-wide scientific organization representing more than 180 neuroscientists and clinicians from the different schools of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. As an "umbrella" organization for neuroscientists at UTHSCH, the goal of the NRC is to promote interaction and collaboration between these scientists and clinicians that engage in neurobehavioral research. To this end, the Center has initiated and developed programs to facilitate the exchange of information and to foster collaborative research among members engaged in neuroscience-related research, teaching and patient care.
