Overview

E-mail has become indispensable to the University's operations! Thus, it is imperative that 

• a standards-based, feature-rich, e-mail service is always available,
• all University personnel have uniform, understandable e-mail addresses,
• everyone's e-mail address is listed in the University's Directory Services,
• one's e-mail address is an attribute of their digital identification (digital ID), and
• e-mail addresses and accounts are automatically activated and deactivated as individuals join and leave the University community.

All memebers of the UT-Houston community have an e-mail address of the form username@uth.tmc.edu which is their offical UTHSC-H address.
