Nutrition in Patient Care Attitudes Survey

Medical Educators at Northwestern University Medical School and the University of Washington School of Medicine originally developed the Nutrition Attitudes Survey (NAS) for the Nutrition Academic Award. The survey is intended to measure the views of medical students and clinicians-in-training on the role of nutrition and preventive medicine in patient care. The NAS is administered at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston to first year students during orientation and to fourth year students at the beginning of 4th year clerkship.
