Campus Wide Information System (CWIS)
Introduction

Welcome to The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHSC-H) Campus Wide Information System (CWIS). The CWIS is an interwoven set of information resources that provides students, faculty and staff with an easy-to-use portal for accessing information from UTH computer systems and from the Global Information Infrastructure (GII). It also allows entities within the University to readily "publish" information to the GII.

Academic Technology c oordinates the publishing activities and the integration of information technologies that generate the CWIS. However, it should be recognized that the massive content and broad scope of CWIS is the result of many individuals working in departments throughout the University to create and publish its information and to maintain the integrated but distributed informational systems from which the CWIS emerges.

Any organizational unit, faculty member, staff member or student from this institution can publish via an OAC server.
