Dial-up Access Homepage

This document contains links for signing up, purchasing, configuring, and establishing a dialup IP connection to The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Office of Academic Computing (OAC) Dialup Router.  This service allows computers to connect into the Texas Medical Center IP network and, therefore, the Internet from remote locations over standard telephone lines using Windows and Macintosh computers utilizing a standard high speed modem.

Dial-up support may be obtained during normal business hours by contacting the Help Desk (713) 500-4848. For after hours support, please contact your department's LAN Manager.

NOTE:

If you dial into the UT Network via any means other than OAC, you will not receive OAC dialup support.

If you access the Internet via any other means, contact your Internet Service Provider for support.
