Using the Add Network Space Wizard to Create a Web Folder
Overview
"My Network Places" allows you to browse folders and files on Web servers just like your local hard drives and network shared drives. You can also open from and save directly to Webs from "My Network Places" or by typing Web addresses (https://URLs) directory as the file name. 

If you have already created your WEBSPACE account, you may use the "Add Network Space Wizard" to create a My Network Place Web (i.e. WebDAV) Folder for managing your WEBSpace root directory. Functionally, a Web Folder behaves similarly to a folder on a local drive or a mapped network drive.

Quick-Start
    Left click on the "My Network Places" icon on your computer desktop.


  • The "My Network Places" window will appear
  • Click on the "Add a network place" in the list of "Network Tasks". 
  • The "Add a Network Network Place Wizard" will appear.
  • Click "Next".
  • Select "Choose another network location", then 
  • Click "Next" and follow the Wizard's prompts.
  • When prompted for an "Internet or network address", enter the URL to your your WEBSPACE root directory - e.g. https://webspace.uth.tmc.edu/wweems/.
  • Continue to follow the Wizard's prompts.
  • Once the Wizard is finished,. your "My Network Places" window will contain a Web Folder to your WEBSPACE. For example, 
.To access your WEBSPACE via the Web Folder in the future, simply go to "My Network Places", find the appropriate icon, and "click" your WEBSPACE folder.
