There are two ways of setting up a Network Place for accessing your Webspace. One way is to start Internet Explorer, and choose File > Open... from the menu bar. You will get a box like this: Type in the full path of your webspace address (don't forget the "s" in "https://"). Make sure the "Open as Web Folder" box is checked. Click OK. You will be prompted for your UT UID and password - enter it and hit OK. You should then get a window displaying the contents of your webspace. You can now drag-and-drop files into it or delete files from it. Another way of setting up a Network Place for your webspace account is to double-click on the My Network Places icon on your desktop. Then click "Add a network place" on the left, as seen below.
This will start the Add Network Place Wizard. Click the "Next" button to proceed. On the next screen, you are asked where you want to create the network place. Choose the option labeled "Choose another network location", then click "Next " again. On the next screen, you are prompted to enter the address of the network place you are creating. Enter the full path of your webspace address as seen below:
Click "Next" again. You will be prompted for your UT UID and password. Enter them and click "OK". You should then get a window displaying the contents of your webspace. You can now drag-and-drop files into it or delete files from it. Last Modified:
