Whether you are single or have a growing family, the Houston area has something to offer you.  Here we enjoy a low cost of living in addition to many diverse activities.  The cultural arts district has achieved international notoriety.  The Houston Ballet, The Houston Grand Opera, and the Alley Theater all have excellent productions.  The Museum District, near the Texas Medical Center, boasts a Contemporary Arts Museum, a new wing on the already acclaimed Museum of Fine Arts, a tremendous Museum of Natural Science (which houses the Cockrell Butterfly Center, an IMAX theater, and a planetarium).  And there is a  Museum of Health and Medical Science, which is very involved in the community, with  many educational programs and public screening projects.  

The sporting community is rapidly growing with the addition of Minute Maid Park  and the Toyota Center contributing to a revitalized and exciting downtown area.   The Houston Texans football team adds fall excitement and promises to be a grand experience only Houston can offer.
