Research
Participation in basic and clinical research is strongly encouraged throughout the training program. Each resident is allocated a 2-4 month research block during which he or she is expected to complete a project that attempts to address a scientific question. Before starting that rotation, each resident must develop and present his or her proposed research question and project to an intramural review process. The Department supports resident travel for presentation at scientific meetings.
