Facial Plastics & Reconstruction Surgery


Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is the subspecialty of Otorhinolaryngology focused on the surgical reconstruction rehabilitation of traumatic and congenital defects of the head and neck region as well as cosmetic facial surgery. In addition, facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons will repair surgical defects after resection of tumors. Procedures include facial reanimation procedures for patients with facial paralysis, rhinoplasties for nasal obstruction and deformity, reconstructive surgery following skin cancer removal, microvascular free-tissue transfer and maxillofacial trauma repair, as well as other facial rejuvenation procedures.
