The Office of Technology Management (OTM) is working with a large pharmaceutical company interested in identifying and validating biomarkers for monitoring atherosclerotic plaque burden and/or stability. This company is also interested in biomarkers for monitoring the risk of thrombosis. The UTHSC-Houston OTM would greatly appreciate the opportunity to review any developments you have in the areas of biomarkers for plaque stability and/or thrombosis. This review would be to determine if the identified company might have an interest in developing a diagnostic assay based on your marker.
