Small molecules

The Office of Technology Management is in contact with a company who is a leading manufacturer and marketer of Rx pharmaceuticals that seeks new compounds for in-license and subsequent commercial development.  The company enjoys a history of successfully collaborating with organizations to develop, commercialize, and promote new products on a global basis.

They are interested in novel compounds, backed by IP (Intellectual Property), and preferably at an IND-ready stage of development - or beyond. The categories of interest are:

  • Infectious disease - Anti-bacterials / Anti-infectives for infectious disease (e.g. nosocomial pneumonia)
  • Metabolic disease - Obesity, Diabetes-related illnesses
  • Cardiovascular disease (e.g. increase HDL levels)
  • CNS - neurodegenerative illnesses (e.g. Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, stroke).
