
Fellowship Programs
Cardiovascular Pathology
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston (UTMS-H), a component of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), has an opening for a one or two year fellowship in clinical and experimental Cardiovascular Pathology starting in July 2009. UTHealth is a leading center of clinical practice and research in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, aortic aneurysm, heart failure and myocardial stem cell biology. The fellow will participate in these programs and other scholarly activities related to teaching and research. The fellowship also offers opportunity for interactions at the Texas Heart Institute and the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. The applicant should be board eligible in anatomic pathology and eligible for licensure in Texas. C.V., bibliography and names of 3 references should be sent to the fellowship director, L.
