Treponema pallidum subsp. pallidum Nichols Proteome -
Two Dimensional Electrophoresis
The gel shown is a Non-Equilibrium pH Gradient Electrophoresis (NEPHGE) two-dimensional gel, with a 8-20% gradient gel in the second (SDS-PAGE) dimension. The gel is the same as that used in Fig. 5A in the Polypeptides of Treponema pallidum review by Norris and the Treponema pallidum Polypeptide Group. Acidic and basic ends of the NEPHGE dimension and the molecular weights of size standards are indicated.
Move cursor over spots; a hand symbol and information box will appear if the spot has been identified. Left click to obtain linkage to the gene entry in the STD sequence database at http://www.stdgen.lanl.gov.
Spot assignments are based on reactivity of monoclonal/monospecific antibodies (MA), N-terminal sequencing (NTS), mass spectrometry (MS) or other analyses.
Comments and additional spot assignments may be sent to Steven.J.Norris@uth.tmc.edu.
