A. DTPA flow demonstrates persistent intracranial perfusion.

B. HMPAO perfusion study performed 24-hours later shows equivocal flow and metabolism involving the left brain (arrow)

C. Sagittal SPECT slices confirm absence of brain activity, thus establishing the diagnosis of brain death.
