Listed on NRC license as radiation safety officer for six facilities and authorized to perform survey instrument calibration and leak testing. Provide support for Radiology (232,000 annual procedures), Nuclear Medicine (15,000 annual procedures), Cardiac Catheterization (6,000 annual procedures), and Laboratory. Participate with review of new equipment and make purchasing recommendations. Instructor in St. John’s School of Radiologic Technology. The main facility is licensed for 1000 beds, is a level 1 trauma center and ranked in the top 100 hospitals.
