Professional Focus:

Dr. Bilow is dedicated to the service of the American Society of Emergency Radiology (ASER). He has served on the ASER Education Committee for the past 8 years, of which the past three years he has been the committee chair. He is the ASER website editor, a member of the ASER Bylaws committee, and also sits on the ASER Executive Committee. He has worked on the Scientific Program committee for the ASER Annual Meeting and Conferences for the past 8 years, and formerly coordinated their Case of the Day exercises. Lastly, he regularly provides peer review of articles submitted for publication in the ASER journal, Emergency Radiology.

Locally, at UTHealth, Dr. Bilow has shown continued interest in quality improvement, resident and medical student education, and medical school activities. He volunteers annualy to serve on committees, assist in medical school admissions interviews, and JAMP (a renowned pre-medical preceptorship program for underprivileged college students).
