Professional Focus:
Dr. Oldham has numerous simultaneous interests spanning clinical radiology to teaching methods in radiology.  Areas of interest in clinical radiology include:  interstitial lung disease, radiographic and high resolution chest CT detection and diagnosis; bronchogenic carcinoma: early detection and staging; CTPA (CT Pulmonary Angiography) and cost effectiveness; detection of anemia by CT; and pulmonary manifestations of HIV and immunosuppression.  Interest in teaching methods in radiology include:  Fundamentals course for first year radiology residents; curricular updates for radiology residents - making sure we give sufficient time needed to teach in the ten subspecialty areas of Radiology; optimizing lecture time and incorporating hot seat cases into didactic lectures, modular instruction of medical students and residents, self-assessment modules (SAM's).
