The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging, is seeking applicants for full time faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, either clinical or tenure track in the above listed subspecialties. The department provides services at Memorial Hermann Hospital (Level One Trauma Center), Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital, and two new state-of-the art outpatient centers. Candidates must be Board certified, and subspecialty fellowship training is desirable. All positions involve teaching medical students, radiology residents and fellows. Pediatric Radiologist

The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position as a Pediatric Radiologist. An opportunity for a chief position is available. The level of faculty appointment and salary are commensurate with training and experience. Candidates must be ABR certified and CAQ certified or eligible. Candidates must have expertise in all areas of pediatric diagnostic imaging, including CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and general diagnostic imaging. Interventional skills are not required. The position involves teaching of residents, fellows and medical students. Evidence of scholarship is desirable.

The University of Texas Medical School at Houston primarily provides imaging services at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center, one of the nation’s largest and most respected medical centers . The Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital is growing rapidly and currently includes 178 beds, increasing to 240 next year. The department also serves the Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital of the Harris County Hospital District. The Pediatric division performs approximately 60,000 examinations per year between the two facilities. Neuroradiologist

The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging, is recruiting a fellowship trained diagnostic neuroradiologist with CAQ certification or eligibility to join a busy clinical and academic neuroradiology practice. The neuroradiology service is primarily based at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. Memorial Hermann Hospital System is currently developing a world-class Neuroscience Institute, for which the department will provide primary subspecialty neuroimaging services. We also provide coverage at Harris County Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital and two outpatient imaging centers. The section is highly integrated with the UT departments of Neurosurgery and Neurology, including a busy Stroke Neurology service. Section members provide both diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology procedures.

The academic research opportunities At UT Houston are abundant. The basic science section of the department is well equipped (with research dedicated 3.0 and 7.0 T MR units) and well staffed with physicists. Functional imaging is a major focus of research activity.
