Available Faculty Positions
The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging, is seeking applicants for full time faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, either clinical or tenure track in the above listed subspecialties. The department provides services at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center (TMC) (Level One Trauma Center), Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital, and two new state-of-the art outpatient centers. Candidates must be Board certified, and subspecialty fellowship training is desirable. All positions involve teaching medical students, radiology residents and fellows. The academic research opportunities at UT Houston are abundant. The basic science section of the department is well equipped (with research dedicated 3.0 and 7.0 T MR units) and well staffed with physicists. Functional imaging is a major focus of research activity.
