Nuclear Imaging of Meckel's Diverticulum: A Pictorial Essay of Pitfalls

A false negative Meckel's and GI bleed study

This patient presented with guiac positive stool. A pertechnetate scan was preformed which was negative. A GI bleed study using 99m-Tc labeled RBC was also negative. A Meckel's diverticulum was found at surgery.
